So it began innocently as a move from the city for a city boy and a country girl.

They were given a rooster and two hens as their new home gift from her farm parents.  Could there be a better gift? Probably not.  A couple of years later at a family picnic he overhears a discussion with a family member (also a farmer) about buying a couple of heifers to start.  Need we say more...

Cedarstone Acres evolved from a wish to know where our food comes from and the fact we wanted to be responsible for the food we eat by growing/raising it ourselves, or as much as possible.

Respecting our animals and their contribution is a core value. Love them and care for them, and they in return will care for us.

Farming is a nod to the life cycle we all participate in.
